The Mercedes-Benz SL is a sleek, alluring Roadster that is loved by many. For many years, this model line has been themed as Mercedes-Benz’s stylish Beverly Hills-Esque palm tree open-air driving experiences roadster. It was originally introduced in 1954 and has remained an iconic car among car collectors, especially since the early versions in the 50s are also extremely valuable today. Recently, Mercedes Benz reintroduced the SL and three model options were available for buyers. The SL43, which is what we have on offer here, is the most affordable way to get into this exciting blend of engineering, technology, and entertainment.

Exterior and Interior
When you first lay eyes on this SL43 you’ll notice its gorgeous lines, elongated hood, and alluring LED daytime running lights. Of course, as usual, you get the adaptive LED lights right below them and they are relatively thin and cut up to give the car a sporty profile. The large black grille with chrome accents displays the big three-pointed star logo and it houses some of the sensors for the distance-guided cruise control. Below the grille are the prominent front splitter and vents that add to its menacing look. These beautiful design features are complemented by gray paint and topped with a contrasting black convertible top. This car rides on a set of 19” AMG wheels that are enveloped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The interior of the car blends luxury and sportiness with supportive AMG bucket seats, carbon fiber trim, and an 11.9-inch portrait-style infotainment screen. The driver is faced with a stunning flat-bottom steering wheel featuring two circular reconfigurable screens. The driver’s screen in front of it can also be controlled by the multifunction steering wheel.

Engine
Under the hood of this 2023 Mercedes-Benz SL43 is a 2-liter turbocharged Inline-4 engine with an electrically assisted turbocharger that is capable of churning out 375 HP and 354 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to the wheels via a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission. With this combination, this roadster will reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
