vehicle overview
Bentley’s Continental GTC is a fine grand tourer that’s been available since 2003. It was the first new car Bentley released after Volkswagen AG acquired this iconic British luxury automaker, and it is now in the fourth generation of excellence. A car that’s always known to be a driver’s delight; it’s about time that you treated yourself to one.
Exterior and Interior
This 2007 Bentley Continental GTC is dressed in a lovely shade of mid-blue, which really suits the car’s luxury lifestyle persona. It’s got the iconic Flying B emblem on the nose and tail, a quartet of headlamps, and a prominent but not imposing grille in silver. Five-spoke alloy wheels feature the Bentley B on their center caps and are host to tires that aren’t super-low profile – after all, comfort is critical for a Bentley, as much as sporting capabilities. The car also features a black power-operated convertible top for those glorious open-air drives. The interior of this 2007 Bentley Continental GTC is a four-seat affair in tan leather, wood trim, and chunky aluminum elements. It’s all very tactile and physical, with myriad buttons and knobs instead of today’s soulless digital screens. Yes, you’ve got a touchscreen infotainment system, but it’s hardly dominant in the car’s interior. Take the gear shifter, for example. It’s hefty and very physical rather than some dainty clicky thing. The air vents are controlled with elements that resemble the stops on a majestic church organ. The gauges are all analog. However, you’ve got plenty of creature comforts and tech toys for the time. Power seats with heating, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a premium sound system are all present and correct in the cabin of this 2007 Bentley Continental GT. There’s also a roomy cargo compartment because a Bentley owner must never be forced to compromise on the choice and number of outfits for a trip.
Engine
This 2007 Bentley Continental GTC uses a lovely 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine to move. The engine makes 552hp and 479lb-ft and sends it to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Hence, 0-60 takes less than 5 seconds, and the official top speed is 198mph, although Bentley is known to be rather conservative in this regard.
